Billing

What kind of term commitment do you require with a virtual office?
How do I pay for my virtual office?

Do you accept anonymous orders?
No. Because of applicable federal and state laws, we require two forms of identification to set up a new Virtual Office.

Do I have to have an email address?
No, you are not required to have an email address to use any of our services (unless it is an email only service, such as mail scanning).

Who uses a virtual office?
Just about any type of business or individual can benefit from a virtual office. They can range from individuals working from home seeking a professional image to a multinational company looking for a short term solution to gain a foothold in a new market.

Do I get physical space with a virtual office?
Yes and no. While you don't have a permanent office, you do receive 4 hours of V-Office time. You can book additional time on an as needed basis by the hour. This allows you the flexibility to only incur overhead when you're actually using it!

What is the difference between and answering service and a virtual office?
With a virtual office, you're getting much more than an answering service. You're getting all the services of an executive suite - conference room, mail handling, etc. - without the cost or the long term commitment. Cost: An answering service typically charges from $50-$120 per month, plus $.75 to $1.25 per minute. We charge a flat fee per month, and are almost always cheaper than an answering service.

How long does it take to get my Virtual Office set up?
Typically, we can have you up and running in 24 hours. When you sign up, we'll provide you with an exact time you will be set up by.

I can't find my question here. Who do I ask?
Please, call us at 702-473-8200 with any further questions you may have. Our friendly staff would be happy to assist you.

What area code will my phone number be in?
All V-Phone phone numbers are in the 702 area code.

What happens when someone calls my V-Phone phone number?
All calls are answered by a live receptionist in your business name (Mon. - Fri. 9am - 5pm, after hours they go to voice mail). Depending on your level of service, the call is then forwarded to a number provided by you or forwarded to voice mail. You can check your voice mail 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at your convenience. An example call would go like this:

Receptionist: Joe's Business. How may I direct your call?

Customer: Yes, I was interested in buying some of your widgets.

Receptionist: Certainly. Let me connect you. Have a great day!

Joe: Hello, this is Joe. How may I help you?

The customer never knew Joe was on his cell phone, or that he had a "virtual" office.

Can I make out going calls with my virtual office phone number?
No, at this time we do not provide that service; however, we plan to in the future.

How does virtual office mail forwarding work?
Mail is sent to the address you've chosen with V-Place. Depending on your level of service, one of two things happen:

Mail is repackaged in a plain, unmarked envelope and mailed to the address you have provided.

Mail is opened, scanned, and e-mailed to you. It is then either forwarded on to you at your request; otherwise, it is destroyed in seven business days.

Yes. We accept parcels from all national postal services including but not limited to FedEx, UPS, DHL, and Airborne. We will not however open parcels for you. Please see V-Place for more information.

What about certified or registered mail that requires a signature?
The authorization you sign for us to receive your mail is for all types of mail, including certified and packages which require a signature. We will sign for any package which requires a signature - if the date/time of our signing may effect time sensitive materials in some way, it is your responsibility to be aware of it.

Do I have a physical mailbox where I can pick up mail?
No, we forward all mail which comes in. However, if you are nearby and wish to pick up your mail, you may do so by appointment. Please call the receptionist at your mail location to set this up.

What if I receive a lot of mail? Is there a forwarding 'limit' I can reach?
No. We will bill for the cost of postage at the end of the month depending on the volume of mail you've received. If you would like a limit to be put on your forwarding, we can do so by request.

Can I make a temporary address change?
Sure. Just let us know and we will forward all new mail to the new address (the process is the same for permanent address changes). In the case of a temporary change, you also need to let us know when to change it back.

What happens when you receive mail after I have ended my service?
We will return all mail to sender.

Do you have space where I can meet clients?
We certainly do. We have a well-appointed, professional conference room available for your use.

The conference rooms are booked on an as-needed basis, by the hour. For more information, see V-Office.

Do I get conference room use with my virtual office?
Yes. You get 4 hours per month with V-Place which you can use. You can also book addtional time by the hour on an as-needed basis.

How do I book V-Office time?
Just give a call to the number provided when you sign up and we'll do our best to accomodate your time requirements.

Do you have space where I can come in and work?
Sure do. We offer temporary office space, booked on an as-needed basis by the hour. For more information, please see V-Office.

Do you ever give out information to anyone?
If law enforcement agents and/or post office inspectors ask for your information because they believe you may have broken the law, we are required by law to provide it. Otherwise, we do not provide any information to third parties.

Other benefits of a virtual office:  We provide a business address for you to use, a conference room for you to meet clients in, mail handling, and an office to work at. An answering service provides none of this.

What kind of term commitment do you require with a virtual office?
None. We bill monthly, and you can stop any time you want.

How do I pay for my virtual office?
We accept all major credit cards as payment. You leave your information with us and monthly we will charge you for your service, as well as provide you with an invoice. You can update your payment details at any time.
